Dog beach

We spent the morning down at Dog Beach. Love this sculpture of a transparent Surfboard with a dogs paw print in it, sorry, it doesn't show well here. It was real bright outside and I could not see the screen on my iPad very well.


Steve is here with Aleah and Kody is that dark spot swimming after his ball in the San Diego River which feeds out into the ocean.


Here's Kody not sure what to think of the waves rolling in. He liked the water in the river better I think. But he got used to waves right away once his ball was thrown in, he did go after it. Now he's gonna want a surf board, teenagers!


Lots of dogs enjoying the day! Their people did to.

Aleah found some cute guys to hang with. She likes to lay on her back and wiggle around in the sand, come and get me! She did have one brawl, I didn't see what started it but she was not gonna walk way. She loves a good brawl. It didn't last long, just a tiff. No harm. And it turns out that the dog and owner were from Tucson to. Was that the problem?


After our fun, we drove over to Point Loma Sea Food (my fav), and pigged out. Yum!

San Diego

We're in San Diego and having a great time! We rented a flat in the Hillcrest neighborhood. It's very nice and close to so much, we can walk to restaurants and bars and the best part, Trader Joe's. It has a great kitchen so I can make breakfast and dinners. Steve took no time off work and is doing his thing right here during the day. And we brought the dogs, it's a doggy vacation.

As you can see from the pictures, we gave it that lived in look already and we have only been here for three days. But it has maid service, YIPPY!
